摘要

The effect of an important variable, volume fraction, was investigated under shaking culture condition. We found that the decline of cellulose production was due to the appearance of Cel~-. Cellulose production was enahnced by addition of cellulose, sucrose and pluronic F-68. Addition of cellulose was found to eliminate the spontaneous mutation of A.xylinum at volume fraction of 0.4.
