Existing controls for transboundary movement of hazardous wastes including PCB waste

Canada is Party to three international agreements for the control of transboundary movement of hazardous wastes, i.eg. the Basel Convention on the Control of Transboundary Movement Of Hazardous Wastes and their Disposal, the Council Decision of the Organization for Economic Co-Operation and Development (OECD) concerning the control of transfrontier movements of wastes destined for recovery operations, and the Canada-United States Agreement on Transboundary Movement of Hazardous Waste.
