In this paper, the authors have examined through experimental investigations the influence of entrained air at two pressures and its effect on oil temperature rise and the effect of the bubble elimination device. The successful results obtained in the authors' experiments bring forth much hope in the future. The authors can look forward to solving the problems that have been caused by the entrained bubbles in hydraulic and lubrication oils by employing the bubble elimination device. As the results of reducing the oil temperature rise, concrete benefits obtained from the use of the bubble elimination device for environmental compatibility are pointed out as follows: to minimize the size of oil reservoirs, to prolong the life of oil, and to eliminate the power loss caused by entrained bubbles.
