This paper investigates a research work carried out on modelling for simulation of discrete manufacturing systems. It presents a modelling approach which allows one to bring solutions of some of the problems concerning manufacturing systems modelling and simulation (methdolology coherence, lack of formalism, etc.) (Bakalem et al. 1994; Habchi et al. 1994). This appraoch is based on some fundamental concepts: the perfect manufacturing system, consideration of the resource from the simulation systems, and the scenrio. Thanks to these concepts we propose three generic basic processors(the PPS, the PSM, and the MOVENT) allowing us respectively to model;
