Brownfield success story: the atlantic city convention center site

In 1984, the Atlantic County Improvement Authority (ACIA) (Client) initiated the industrial redevelopment of 30 acres of inactive industrial property. THree contiguous sites comprised the property including a 6-acre coal gas processing facility, a 1-acre bulk fuel oil handling and storage facility, and a 23-acre railroad site on which a low income housing complex (12 buildings, 240 apartments) was built.
