To toughen p, p'-bismaleimidodiphenylmethane (BMI) copolymerized with o. o'-diallylbisphenol A (DP), it was blended and modified with rigid thermoplastics polyaryletherketone with phenolphthalein (PEK-C) as the toughening agent. The results show that addition of small amount of PEK-C can furthe rincreas ethe toughnes sof BMI/DP resin, e.g., fracture surface energy (G_IC) of modified resin rises from 214 J/m~2 to 404J/m~2 after addition of 7.9
