Performance Evaluation of Power-Managed Mobile Communication Devices

We consider the problem of power management for mobile terminals in wireless communication networks,focusing on buffered,delay-constrained data transmission at a single node subject to substantial time-varying interference.Numerical methods are used to obtain various performance measures and suggest low-power optimal transmission policies such that transmission is attempted only when interference is below a threshold.
