Organizing and executing the operations interface for major projects

Major transit capital projects are not built in a vacuum. They thread through existing areas and either provide a new system or extend/improve an existing one. Any such project must not only be funded and well engineered, but it must also provide a system and/or facilities that are operable, compatible with the transit environment and the existing system and, over time, provide competitive passenger service.
