摘要

We present experimental results conducted on polyethylene terephthalate, in order to obtain parameters for the simulation of flow-induced crystallization in injection molding. The experiments involve shearing the melt in a cone-and-plate rheometer, at a temperature below the melting point, followed by quenching, then measuring the stress-induced crystallinity by calorimetry. This approach enables us to investigate the combined effects of temperature, shearing time and shear stress on the crystallization of PET, subjected to shear flow.
