High strength steel wire rod for suspension coil spring

摘要

A new high strength steel for suspension coil spring was developed. The increase in Si content resulted inthe higher strength, while the addition of Ni resulted in the toughness increae. The test test results of new steel coil spring shoeed excellent properties, compared with those of SAE 9254.
