Cooperative Radar Range Deception Using Unmanned Air Vehicles

Electronic deception of a group of radars by electronic combat air vehicles isconsidered. Using the principles of line of sight guidance a kinematic methodologyfor phantom target generation is presented. Kinematic relations with referenceto specific missions of infinite time deception, rendezvous, and minimum controleffort deception are presented. Simulations are carried out for different vehiclespeeds, deceiving missions, and radar arrangements. Results highlight that variousphantom target models can be generated using the proposed simple relations.
