Indeed, in the forthcoming years the Refractories Industry will be affected by the effects of the World Financial and Economical Crisis. Those two crises have had already direct influences on the raw materials, on the energy supply and their costs and on the global competition issues.Among all the challenges to cope with global competition, to control direct and indirect costs, from labor to legal, logistics, and environmental costs, the concerns about new technologies has to be kept at the center of our preoccupations and with it the role of training of human resources. This later point is the focus of this presentation.
