摘要

The algorithm was elaborated for interpretation of complex X-ray diffraction profiles of clay minerals. The Reinold's program, aided with the interactive service and optimization procedure based on nonlinear prgramming, provides the possibiity for their simulation. The diffraction patterns of clay minerals rom the deep horizons of terrigenous sedimentary rocks of the Wesg-Siberian Plate were interpreted. Mixed-layer minerals, consisting of illite-smectite series with various concentration of illite and smectite layers, ordering, and dispersion, were found to be very abundant.
