Analysis on the contribution of factors affecting the total city energy consumption

The control of total city energy consumption is one of the important tasks of the city energy transition. By considering the comparability and availability of the data, and using the numerical method to construct the contribution of each influencing factor to the change of the total energy consumption, different factors affecting the total energy consumption was decomposed and analyzed. The degree model, in turn, obtains the relative contribution of various influencing factors to the change of total city energy consumption. The validity of the model was verified by taking Beijing as a sample. Analysis results from the model can provide support for the selection of key areas and key methods for total city energy consumption control.
