A new full-protected control mode to drive piezoelectric transformers in DC-DC converters

Piezoelectric transformers show a behaviour that is anything but linear. This can originate undesirable effects in a feedback loop based in a "conventional" control strategy, as for example frequency variation. This paper presents an alternative solution which results in a simpler design and less components.
