A study of track initiation and the modified probabilistic data association filter for multiple target tracking using real data

摘要

A multiple target tracking algorithm is developed for real-data analysis. A modified track initiation and a modified probabilistic data association filter are incorporated into the algorithm. The performance of the multiple tracking algorithm is evaluated by using simulated data as well as recorded radar data from multitarget radar trials. Highly satisfactory results were obtained using this technique with real radar data.
