摘要

The flow pattern of molten steel in slab continuous casting mould plays an important role in removing the nonmetallic inclusions and gas bubble. In the present study, a series of programs were developed to describe the three-dimensional turbulent flow and the motion of inclusions and bubbles in the continuous casting mould. The results show that the flow pattern of molten steel affects the motion of particle obviously. Compared with the inclusions, the trajectories of bubbles are simple and bubbles float up to the slag layer easily.
