Temperature Field in Continuously Cast Slab within the Limits of Continuous Casting Mould and Casting Mould itself

In this work numerical simulation of the continuous casting of steel have been performed, aiming first of all at temperature fields distribution in the continuously cast slab (within the region of continuous casting mould) and in the casting mould itself. Numerical calculations, executed by means of the COSMOS/M computer program, have been performed for two- and three-dimensional problems.
