A box, is a box, is a box - until you look at the family of pultroded composite "boxes" designed and built by Stoughton Composites, Inc., (SCI), of Brodhead, Wisconsin and used for intermodal shipping purposes. The movers and shakers of the pultrasion industry have always believed that their process had the potential to move composite materials into large structural applications. The process, however, has occasionally fallen short of it's potential in large application areas.
