The range of performance measures used and implication is still a focus.However,one of the main problems with the traditional performance measures are that they are backward looking in nature which cannot be very useful for a firm looking to introduce new products and services into the market in today's dynamic business environment.Especially in the post-financial crisis times,some of the alternative performance measures which are reasonable and effective should be taken for improving competitiveness of company,products and market.
