摘要

Copper-zinc alloys represent an important category of materials for the industrialrnapplications. However, their exhibition in acid solutions poses corrosive effects. We havernmentioned the nitric and sulphuric acids used for the scouring and the scaling in particular.rnThe results obtained, according to the electro-chemical and weight-loss techniques,rnshow that 70Cu-30Zn alloy doesn't present phenomenon of passivation in 0.5 M HNO3. Thernraise increase of the temperature from 20 to 60℃ has the effect of accelerating the process ofrncorrosion. The examination of the polarization curves with and without addition of the ATArnto different concentrations reveals that this compound is a mixed inhibitor. The adsorption ofrnthe ATA on the surface of the alloy was found to follow the Langmuir adsorption isotherm.
