Results of the Fight against Software Piracy: Criminal Conviction of Companies for Copyright Related Crimes

The following article addresses one of the most widespread crimes committed by companies -software piracy, hi the following sections we will present the development of legislation regarding both the copyright and the criminal liability of companies, some relevant cases in which companies were convicted for copyright related crimes under Romanian legislation, and the conditions of such criminal liability that arise from those rulings.
