OBT applied to a 2nd order continuous time Feedforward Sigma Delta modulator

The Sigma-Delta modulators that use feedforward architectures are used for the implementation of high-resolution oversampled A / D converters. If these architectures are implemented in continuous time, good results can be obtained in terms of consumption and other benefits. In this work, we explore the ability of Oscillation-Based Test (OBT) for testing a continuous-time Second order sigma-delta modulator based on transconductance (gm). We present a scheme that uses a linear characteristic in the feedback loop. The effectiveness of the strategy is qualified by means of fault simulation.
