Experiments with integration of classical manufacturing devices in intelligent control systems

摘要

This paper presents some concepts and experiments with integration of classical automation devices in holonic control systems. Several holonic models, constructed by analogy with human body and social organizations were introduced and translated in the area of manufacturing systems. The developed concepts were practically validated through the implementation of a holonic control system for a machining system.
