The theoretical model of random sequence of exponential attenuate acoustic pulses caused by high-speed shippropeller cavitation noise is presend in this paper. Basis on it, the spectrum formula of propeller cavitationnoise has been derived. It is shown that propeller cavitation noise is composed of continual spectrum andseparable line spectrum .The line spectrum relative amplitude is depended on random swing of acoustic pulsefront edge generation moment. At high frequency line spectrum components in noise approach to zero, and inlower frequency region line spectrum was much large than correspondent continual spectrum. The continualspectrum peak is existed in certain lower frequency. The agreement between above theoretical results andexistent measured data is very good.
