The noise reduction effect and durability of various drainage asphalt pavement

This paper advances test construction in the present way of three kinds of low noisepavement (drainage pavement, double layer drainage pavement, and thin layer drainagepavement), and is conducting a follow-up survey about the variation per hour of the noisereduction effect for about ten years.Results of an investigation have grasped the noise reduction effect of the time ofconstruction for every pavement kind, and examined the durability of the noise reductioneffect. Although the prediction type of drainage pavement was defined by ASJ RTN-Model2003, since the prediction type of double layer drainage pavement and thin layer drainagepavement was not built, it proposed the prediction type according to the vehicle typeclassification using results of an investigation.
