1. Use the SOPs Template as a guide to write or review all of your manuals. 2. Utilize your crewmembers in the review process as well as in the development of new procedure process. 3. Insist on clear, concise procedures and only change them when necessary. 4. Train your procedures and check that they are being used. As the motto of the training department at one airline states, "Fly like you train and train like you fly." I will add, "and make sure it is written that way in all of your manuals."
