摘要

A cooperative road-vehicle system is currently being developed, referred to as Connected CruiseControl (CCC). It provides an advice to the driver regarding speed, headway and lane in order toanticipate and eventually prevent congestion. This advice is determined in a back-office usingreal-time traffic simulation models that predict the traffic situation up to ten minutes in advance.This paper focuses on the functioning of the CCC system and the communication between theback-office and the vehicles.
