New Method for Muzzle Velocity Measurement on Spinning Projectile

Based on principle of turns-count fuze, a new method to measure muzzle velocity on spinning projectile is put forward. The key point of this method is counting time interval in fixed number of rotations, and ascertaining optimum number of rotations based on minimum measuring error is the keystone. Problems such as the start point ascertaining, power project and blind zone in application for electronic time fuze are analyzed. And its upstanding foreground in delicacy change and semi-delicacy change for general ammunitions are prospected.
