Two-layer Utility Based Resource Optimization for CSMA/CA Networks

摘要

This paper proposes a two-level approach for optimizing network resources in a CSMA/CA network. The upper layer focuses on long-term optimization for network throughput and fairness, while the lower layer tries to use the wireless link as efficient as possible. The optimization method proposed handles continuous functions and is shown to be very fast and useful. The simulation results show very promising results, indicating that the proposed methods can be improved further for even more complex situations.
