摘要

The main purpose of this paper is the energy efficiency assessment of the following alternative heating and cooling systems: conventional district heating, air- to- water heat pump, ground -source heat pump. A systems engineering approach was taken. This approach considers the interaction between the building envelope and mechanical systems, as well as other factors. In order to compare the technical and economic indices, the annual heating and cooling generation was determined. Computer simulation analyses were performed using a simulation program to compare the energy use of the alternative heating and cooling systems. As a result of the energy conservation measures applied to the residence, a significant reduction in energy consumption of more than 50% was achieved. This paper addresses recommendations for energy efficiency assessment of both existing and new residences.
