Secondary Geodesic Line Method for Cutting Pattern Generation of Membrane Structure

摘要

In this paper,some broadly used generation methods of cutting patterns are studied with emphasis on the cutting line generating and the cloths flattening. Advantages and disadvantages of each method are summarized. Furthermore, a new cutting pattern generation method called Secondary Geodesic Line Method is presented. The accuracy and reliability of the method are then demonstrated using examples with classical solutions. Finally, the general application of the method is demonstrated by a few membrane structures satisfying various requirements.
