The Analysis of GMR Sensor's Angular Dependence

Since the giant magnetoresistance (GMR) effect was discovered in 1988 great attention has been paid on its applications in information storage, signal isolation etc. Angular dependence of magnetic sensors including Hall-effect device, AMR sensor, and GMR materials have been previously reported. However, detail analysis on angular dependence of GMR sensors is still lacking. In this work, we have carried out the experiments in characterizing the angular behavior of GMR sensors.
