Adequate staffing of operators and maintenance crews tornbottleneck and non bottleneck areas, is crucial to the overallrnproductivity of semiconductor manufacturers.rnThe use of advanced Queuing Theory and simulation modelsrnis highly cost-effective because it reduces human-relatedrninefficiencies within the operation and maintenance ofrnfab/test equipment.rnTwo user-friendly packages were developed and successfullyrnapplied in over 30 different fab areas and test facilities.
