LASER CUTTING PROCESS OF POLYAMIDE FABRIC

摘要

Laser cutting of polyamide fabric today needs to be highly productive because of the vast demand for the air bag production. Depending on the parameters of the laser beam source, the process speed is limited for each number of fabric layers in the package to be cut. Taking into account the process speed and the dynamics of the laser machine an optimal number of layers in a package can be determined. The sensitivity of the output on the production parameters is estimated and directions for further improvements are given.
