Properties and Applications of Stainless Steel Substrates Insulated with Novel 850℃ Dielectric Pastes and Tapes

摘要

Insulated metal substrates prepared by depositing lead and alkali-free dielectric coatings on 430 stainless steel metal bases were developed. Their low cost, robust mechanical properties and excellent corrosion resistance make them attractive in a variety of domestic appliance applications. Low profile heaters prepared by screen printing thick film circuitry on such substrates are discussed.
