IPTV: NEW CHALLENGE AND NEW CHANCE

摘要

IPTV is a method of distributing broadcast television and on-demand, multimedia content that uses an Internet protocol (IP) network as the medium. IPTV uses the same network infrastructrue as Internet eliminating the need to build a dedicated application specific video network. This paper discusses the technical issues of IPTV, and the technical challenges to deploy IPTV.
