Disclosed are an IPTV movie VOD content recommendation server by combining movie VOD preference information of a mobile OTT service of an IPTV service, and a method thereof. A content recommendation method performed by an IPTV content recommendation server according to one embodiment includes the steps of: collecting preference data for VOD content viewed through IPTV and VOD content viewed through OTT, respectively; calculating predicted preferences of VOD content related to a user by integrating the collected preference data; and recommending VOD content based on the calculated prediction preference.
