摘要

In monitoring system, recorder is the kernel component. However, the performance of monitoring system is dramatically reduced by mass images and data. Orthogonal wavelet packet is the natural extension of the idea that orthogonal multi-recognition analysis could constitute orthogonal wavelet. Orthogonal wavelet packet can further divide the space of wavelet and solve the problem of high frequency-low recognition in wavelet transformation, thus, it becomes the analysis method providing image compression with the effect of high frequency-high recognition. Applied to the recorder in high way monitoring system, the algorithm can obtain fairly good effect.
