CLASSIFICATION OF PELOIDS

The term peloids was introduced by Judd Lewis (1933) and propagated by the I.A.H.M. for a group of pelitic natural substances of valuable therapeutic character in natural medicine, amongst them curative peat. The system of classification explained by the author is the Central European standard and recommended for world-wide use. A detained account will be given at an appropriate place.
