A Location-based Routing Protocol with Position History for Mobile Ad-hoc Networks

摘要

In this paper, we propose a location-based routing algorithm. Our algorithm is based on LAR (Location-aided Routing) algorithm. In order to find a routing path effectively, we use the histories of the position information of terminals. We introduce the HELLO packet for announcing the positions of terminals periodically to neighboring terminals. Experimental results show that we can achieve shorter route paths with fewer packets in comparison with the original LAR protocol.
