This paper will describe how Thales has successfully employed Modelling, Simulation and Synthetic Environments (MS&SE) architectures in the bid phase of the UK MoD's WATCHKEEPER programme. The paper will then describe how this C4ISTAR capability development programme led to the creation of a generic C4ISTAR Battlelab that is now actively used both for engaging with our Customers and experimenting with emergent C4ISTAR capabilities such as the current Joint UAV Experimentation Programme (JUEP).
