Based on analyzing the releasing fault of electromagnetic contactor after fault of breaking contact through a large number of using and testing, and summarizing various factors influencing electromagnetic contactor including electromagnetic system, contact and operation mechanism etc, another important factor - vacuum effect, which influences releasing reliability, was discovered and brought forward. At the same time, the method verified feasible by manufacture and application was introduced also.
