摘要

Since change of water dynamic conditions, the water region, which has been shallow shoal, west to the runway of Macau International Airport(MIA) is on the status of sediment accumulation. Due to the lack of land resources, part of this water region is taken into reclamation scheme, which may cause the water quality problem. Molecular fluorescence mothod is used to analyze the water exchange ability of the region after reclamation. It shows that the water exchange ability of the region can be divided into three zones, namely strong exchange zone, medium exchange zone and weak exchange zone. The reduction rates of concentration of contaminations vary at different exchange zones. At strong exchange regions, concentration is of exponential decay. At medium exchange and weak exchange regions, the reduction rates of concentration can be expressed in the form of nearly linear and parabolic functions respectively.
