In this paper, black wattle bark tannins are immobilized on chloromethyl polystyrene resin to create a new kind of adsorption resin which has multi phenolic hydroxyl. Its adsorption capacity to Cation Dye is tested. By orthogonal tests, the optimal conditions of synthesis are confirmed: the concentration of sodium hydroxide solution is 1.0mol· L~(-1); the reaction time is one hour; the concentration of tannins is 5%. By single element tests, the optimal conditions of adsorption are confirmed: pH is 5.0; the temperature of adsorption is 25℃; the concentration of Cation Dye is 100mg· L~(-1). By single element tests, the optimal condition of desorption are confirmed: the concentration of sodium hydroxide solution is 0.5 mol· L~(-1) the temperature of desorption is 35℃.
