ON-WEB-VISUALIZING A MECHANISM OF A SINGLE CHIP COMPUTER FOR COMPUTER LITERACY COURSES

摘要

This paper presents a new Web-aided system, a CPU emulator, which is based on a simplified virtual machine model of conventional computer and works on the Web. The emulator was developed as an educational tool for novice users and helps them to take experiences of computer's behaviors. This emulator is now available from our Computer Literacy Web page.
