Security is one of the main aspects in a communication. Hackers are always engaged themselves in accessing unauthorized data. To prevent these unauthorized activities by unauthorized users or hackers, steganography is used. In steganography secret message is hidden inside cover media such that observers are only know about cover media but unaware of hidden messages inside that cover media. In the base paper, author proposed one technique in Image steganography where MSB bits are concentrated more instead of usual LSB bits [1]. In the author's proposed algorithm difference of fifth bit and sixth bit of image byte is carried out and then that difference is compared with secret data. If it matches, then no alteration is done otherwise complement of fifth bit is stored in that position. In the proposed paper, improvisation of base paper's method is proposed by applying cryptographic technique. The secret message is converted to encrypted form and then base paper's steganography algorithm is applied. The implementation of algorithm is carried through experiments and analyzed the obtained results through graphs. (Abstract)
