A Single Phase Adiabatic Logic

In this paper a new adiabatic logic circuit (SEAL) is proposed. SPAL (single phase adiabatic logic) is clocked and powered by a single phase sinusoidal clock. Also SPAL have not floating outputs and present a constant load to the clock. This paper describes the operation of the circuit and shows that this topology can reduce dissipation by a factor of 4 to 20 over conventional CMOS logic.
