A Primary Screening of Antidepressant Activities From Traditional Chinese Medicinal Plants

Animals model experiments show that the selected traditional Chinese medicines are of certain antidepressant effects, especially the preference fractions in E, I, N and S. It is inferred that the preference fractions may be Jujuboside, Ferulic acid, Tetramethyl-pyrazine, Gentiopicrin and Gentianine.
