Comprehensive Research on Combustion Characteristics of Blended Coal

Blended coals were widely used in the world, especially in China. Many coal consumers show a tendency to use the blended coals. To face this case, in this paper, experiments to study the rapid devolatilization of the blended coal have been carried out. The experimental and theoretical study on ignition and burnout properties of blended coal have been performed in a simple experiment equipment. Two parameters which are ignition characteristic index Cd and burnout characteristic index Bc of blended coal are introduced. They are compatible with the actual result of blended coals.
